AB's dry rub

ingredients
- ½ Cup (125 mL) Brown sugar, tightly packed
- 3 Tbl (45 mL) Kosher salt
- 1 Tbl (15 mL) Chili powder
- ½ tsp (2.5 mL) Onion powder
- ½ tsp (2.5 mL) Old Bay seasoning
- ½ tsp (2.5 mL) Jalapeño seasoning
- ½ tsp (2.5 mL) Thyme, rubbed
- ½ tsp (2.5 mL) Cayenne pepper
- ½ tsp (2.5 mL) Black pepper
procedure
- Combine all ingredients and mix well.
- Place in an airtight jar and store in a cool, dry place.
- To use, rub on your favorite meat and let stand for at least an hour and up to 24 hours for maximum flavor.
- A shaker lid is recommended so that the seasoning will come out slowing and evenly.
